Cornetta Williams Walker's Biography

I’m Cornetta Williams Walker, a Clinical Supervisor and Psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience supporting people through trauma, addiction, and the challenges of living in a world that often misunderstands neurodivergence.
Many of my clients come to me struggling with substance use, compulsive behaviours, or overeating, only to discover that undiagnosed or unsupported ADHD, dyslexia, or other neurodiverse traits are part of the picture. Addiction and neurodivergence are deeply linked: difficulties with focus, emotional regulation, or feeling “different” can drive people towards substances, food, or habits that numb or soothe.
I specialise in helping people make sense of these patterns. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I work with adults, parents, and families to explore how ADHD and other neurodiverse experiences intersect with substance use, relational challenges, and self-esteem.
Together, we build strategies that support recovery, resilience, and healthier ways of living.

If you recognise yourself in this, you don’t need to face it alone. Support is available, and change is possible.
